Washing & Fabric Care Advice:
• Ankara, Kampala Adire, & Cotton Crepe: Hand wash or machine wash inside out at a gentle 30°C setting. For ultimate color lock and prolonged durability, soak your fabric in a vinegar-and-water mixture overnight before its very first wash!
• Silks & Chiffons: Wash gently by hand or machine wash at 30°C inside out. Press with an iron on a low heat setting to smoothly remove wrinkles while protecting the delicate weave.
• Hand-Woven Akwete Fabric: Hand wash or machine wash gently at 30° Inside out with a mild detergent and air dry on a line. It is best to iron the fabric when it is still slightly damp. Always iron on the reverse side to protect the hand-woven raised patterns. Fold carefully along its natural weave lines and avoid plastic storage bags that trap moisture.
